Biosis is undertaking an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment and test excavations (if required) for the development of 220 Moss Vale Road (Lot 4 DP 268209), Cambewarra, NSW, within the Nowra Local Government Area on behalf of Moss Vale Road Developments and Newquest Property (Oliver Keane, oliver@newquestproperty.com.au, Tel (02) 8904 0752).
Biosis invites Aboriginal people who hold cultural knowledge in determining the significance of Aboriginal object(s) and/ or places in the vicinity of the above area to register their interest in a process of community consultation.
The purpose of Aboriginal community consultations is to assist Newquest Property in preparing an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit application (if requires) and to assist Heritage NSW, Department of Planning and Environment in their consideration and determination of the application. The project will be undertaken in accordance with the National Park and Wildlife Act 1974.
