Tender Description
The Te Puna Tōpu o Hokianga Trust is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors wishing to participate in a competitive process to undertake silvicultural services for their ngahere located at Mitimiti in the Northern Hokianga, Northland.
- Approximately 775 Ha of P. radiata to be thinned over the next 2 years.
- Additional 100 Ha/annum of P. radiata thinning next 3 – 5 years.
- Potential for mechanized thinning as well as manual thinning.
- Potential for extraction and sale of roundwood.
- Potential for a workforce training program.
- Rolling to medium hill country suitable for mechanized thinning operations.
- Second rotation tree crop, with existing internal road access to all blocks.
