This program provides funding for events being held in the Northern Territory.

Funding is available to strengthen the Northern Territory's event sector by increasing the quality of events and festivals.

There are 4 funding categories:

Community Event

funding of up to $30,000
events that are mainly targeted at a local audience and that have strong community support.

Mass Participation Event

funding of up to $30,000 for events held April to September
funding of up to $40,000 for events held October to March
events that attract participants/competitors from outside the Territory and stay in paid accommodation for a minimum of 3 nights.

Event Development

funding of up to $100,000
events that engage new audiences and attract visitors to the Northern Territory.

Major Event

applicants will be invited to apply via an expression of interest (EOI) process
events that are exclusive to the Northern Territory or position the Territory as a destination for a unique experience
contribute significantly to the visitor economy.
