Ruth Newman Architect on behalf of Sydney Montessori School, Gymea, invites appropriately qualified builders to submit their registration of interest to tender on the construction of the new Arts/technology building.

The project consists of a new single storey building with a total floor area of approximately 400 square metres.

Builders demonstrate their experience in the following criteria in their Expression of Interest:

1. Capacity to undertake projects up to $2,000,000.00
2. Proven track records of delivering similar projects.
3. Capacity and ability and experience to manage of a construction site within an occupied/operational site (school).
4. Proactive approach to working with consultants and client to deliver the best outcome for the project.
5. An established NSW base, with a commitment to sourcing locally based suppliers and contractors.
6. Financial Capacity to complete the works required.
7. Understanding and experience of relevant legislation that may apply including:

• Licencing
• Work Health and Safety Management
• Environmental Management

8. Experience, capability and availability of key personnel.

Following review of the EOI to establish a short list, tender documents will be released to selected builders in early October/early November.

Construction is planned to commence December 2022.

Registration should address the above criteria and includes NSW license details, portfolio of recent projects, project referees, and CV's of key personnel.

Registration are to be submitted no later that 2pm on Friday 23rd September 2022 to tenders@sms.nsw.edu.au
