The Victorian Government is seeking a community-focused enterprise to operate a small café at Galkangu Bendigo GovHub at 195 - 229 Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo.

Set up and ready to go, the café space will provide an excellent opportunity for a passionate, community-minded, social enterprise to walk in and make a social and sustainable impact on the Bendigo community. The community-focused enterprise will be required to comply with the Victorian Government's Social and Sustainable Procurement Framework which focuses on:

• purchasing from local businesses that operate and have business premises in Victoria, including social enterprises and Victorian Aboriginal businesses
• providing employment and/or training for Victorians, including Aboriginal people, Victorians with a disability and disadvantaged Victorians
• using sustainable resources and packaging, managing waste, reducing pollution, and providing healthy menu choices.

The turnkey café space of circa 25 sqm will be fully fitted out and is currently estimated to be ready to commence trading early 2023.
