AREA Environmental & Heritage Consultants (AREA) is seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal groups or individuals holding cultural knowledge of the Tamworth area, in Tamworth Regional LGA, who wish to be consulted over a proposed subdivision of land for future residential development at Lot 2 DP 1213875, Lot 1 DP 1213875, Part Lot 1 DP 1198645 and Lot 1 DP 233288, Hillvue, NSW.

AREA has been commissioned by CSO Engineers PTY LTD to facilitate an Aboriginal cultural heritage assessment for the proposal. The contact details for the proponent are Chris Taylor chris@csoengineers.com

The DA would seek consent under Part 4, Section 4.12 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 from Tamworth Regional Council. The purpose of community consultation with Aboriginal people is to assist the proposed applicant in the preparation of an application for an AHIP and to assist the Director General in his or her consideration and determination of the application.
