Property & Development NSW (PDNSW), within the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) is responsible for the management and delivery of large scale or complex real estate projects, transactions, workplace strategy, design, and delivery, and manages the state’s significant property portfolio.
PDNSW leads the strategic development of the Macquarie Street East Precinct (MSEP). The project has been endorsed by Government and funding is in place for early works to the precinct.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) is seeking proposals from experienced contractors who can work collaboratively with an extensive consultant team and Property & Development NSW to deliver early works to Registrar-General’s Building (RGB).
The EOI is the first stage of a two stage procurement process. The proposals received from Stage 1 EOI will be evaluated and then four (4) respondents will be invited to participate in Stage 2 Request for Tender (RFT).
The early works at the RGB involve the demolition of the ‘Records and North wings’, rectification of the internal courtyard facades of the retained historic RGB and creating a new public plaza within the footprint of the demolished buildings.
