The Barossa Council (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of the implementation of an Asset Management Information System (AMIS) to support the Asset Management function within The Barossa Council (the Services). 

The Council will enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer.

The asset management function plays an integral role within Council. Robust asset management enables Council to meet the required technical and customer levels of service in the most cost-effective manner. Council endeavours to make smart investment decisions that are planned and programmed to enable the best value outcomes for our customers and the community.

Council’s aims and objectives regarding the Services as outlined in the Specification; To deliver the Council’s vision, this project aims to achieve the following outcomes:

Implement an Asset Management Information System that supports all functions within the Asset Management Lifecycle.

Consolidate corporate asset data and develop a Single Source of Truth.

Where possible, leverage existing corporate software to support business processes.

Assist the Council in making well informed asset management decisions based on quality, timely, evidence-based advice and information.

Ensure the Council achieves value for money in the use of public funds and assets and continues to balance asset risk management with practical results.

Provide disciplined asset information and knowledge to teams who consume asset information.

Closing the loop with our customers – support the creation of an automated feedback loop to customers requests.
