Tender Description
Mt Buller Mt Stirling Alpine Resorts is looking for a chain fitter and towing provider for the declared winter seasons commencing Winter 2023 for a three-year period with the possibility of extensions.
The supplier will be Alpine Resorts Victoria’s (ARV) chain fitter and vehicle recovery provider for Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Resorts.
ARV will provide the Supplier with:
- Vehicle village access permits as required,
- Staff access to the Plough shed bathroom,
- Magnetic signs for 4 vehicles and one portable radio including charger, and
- “Fit chains here” / “remove chains here” A-frame signage.
ARV and key recovery staff will meet regularly during the snow season to plan/forecast demand for services prior to peak visitation periods. Visitation forecasts will help the supplier to allocate sufficient chain fitting and vehicle recovery resources to meet target response times.
