The Mental Health Commission (MHC) is commissioning a pilot Youth Psychosocial Support Packages (YPSP) program. The YPSP pilot program will provide up to 30 psychosocial support packages for young people, with moderate to severe mental health issues, with or without co-occurring alcohol and other drug issues, in the Perth metropolitan area. The aim of the program is to improve the quality of their lives.

The Model of Service (MoS) has been finalised and the MHC is commissioning two program components to deliver the YPSP:

• MHC2022-184 - Provision of Support Coordination Provider for the Pilot YPSP Program
• MHC2022-185 - Provision of Psychosocial Support Package Providers for the Pilot  YPSP Program

The MHC is seeking to appoint a service provider (or consortia) as the Support Coordination Provider to manage the referral and assessment process for young people nominated for the YPSP program, and to support successful young people to choose their Psychosocial Support Package Provider under the program and throughout the term of the individual’s Individualised Recovery Plan as required.
