The Southern Mallee District Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified persons to sit on its Audit Committee for a two year term. Due to expiration of current terms both positions of Independent Chairperson and Independent Member are required to be reappointed.

In line with Local Government practices we are seeking independent members who have a strong background in Local Government finance, and/or risk management and with previous experience on Audit Committees.

Expressions of interest should be submitted to the Acting Chief Executive Officer, Southern Mallee District Council by email to council@southernmallee.sa.gov.au no later than 5pm on Friday 4 November 2022.
