Tender Description
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Home Economics Refurbishment Project at Nambour State College, located at 1 Carroll Street, Nambour QLD 4560, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The works consists of a new kitchen exhaust system, new stainless steel benches and tables, new vinyl flooring, new sinks and associated plumbing and fixtures, new joinery and teaching wall, new lights and fans, new freestanding stoves, new gas reticulation and new plumbing and drainage. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by February 2023.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
