Umwelt (Australia Pty Ltd (Umwelt) on behalf of ACEN Australia is seeking to identify Aboriginal persons and/or organisations who wish to be consulted in relation to the proposed Aquila Wind Project (The Project) situated between the townships of Stuart Town (at the northern-most extent) and Euchareena (at the southern-most extent) in the Central region NSW.
The Project is State Significant Development (SSD) and will be subject to assessment and approval under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The proposed program of consultation with Aboriginal stakeholders will be used to inform an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) that will be prepared for the Project. Interested Aboriginal persons and/ or organisations are invited to register their interest in writing to:

Please note, registration must be submitted by Friday 16th December 2022. In accordance with the requirements of Section 4.1.6 of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Consultation Requirements for Proponents 2010.
Any aboriginal persons and/or organisations who register an interest in the project will have their details forwarded to Heritage NSW and the Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC). Please advise if you do not want your details may be requested from:
