Throughout 2022, TMR has been refining the reference design based on feedback received during community consultation in late 2021 and input from key stakeholders including Queensland Rail and local councils. This process is well advanced and will continue into early 2023.

Other priority activities underway include:

• Detailed design for the Loganlea Station Relocation and Park ‘n’ Ride Expansion Project (LSR)
• Securing land along the project corridor
• Submitting environmental approvals
• Finalising the project delivery strategy, with the following key packages now preferred:

1. Loganlea Station Relocation Package (using a construct only contract)
2. Two Grade Separations Packages (using TMR’s Collaborative Project Agreement)
3. Rail Package (using an Alliance Model)

TMR is working through internal processes over the next few months and will come back to industry in early 2023 with an update on the procurement strategy and indicative timeframes.

TMR is also growing the LGC project team in readiness for these activities, and will release expressions of interest in the new year for project management, engineering, assurance and commercial services.
