The Flinders Ranges Council was successful through the Regional Airports Program to construct and seal the Quorn Aerodrome.

The Quorn aerodrome is an ALA classed un-sealed runway and located 6km to the North of the township of Quorn. It has low traffic numbers, with most of its landings undertaken by the RFDS.

The aerodrome consists of a runway 1105m x 20m, a taxiway of 30m x 15m and an apron 45m a 45m. (24,575m2)

Council has had the existing pavement surveyed and geo-tested, and the relevant specification drawn up to construct a pavement suitable to be sealed.

This tender is for the civil earthworks portion of the work only, Council will arrange the sealing aspect to these works separate to this contract.

This project is grant funded and needs to be completed by March 30 2023, but also tie into the dates with the nominated sealing contractor.

Please reflect an itemised schedule of rates for costs associated to undertake work, and an overall total cost to complete.
