Goonoo Goonoo Road Pty Ltd invites Aboriginal people and Aboriginal groups who hold cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal objects and places for 406-424 and 508-548 Goonoo Goonoo Road, Hillvue 2340 (NSW) to register to be consulted.

The Project works comprise a Development Application (DA) to be submitted to Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) for the subdivision of the B5 Business Development Zoned Land into 35 large lot retail, commercial and industrial parcels as per Council's existing zoning. The allotments subject to development comprise part of Lot 19 DP1111059, part of Lot 2 DP1192677 and part of Lot 24 DP95997 at Goonoo Goonoo Road, Hillvue, NSW.

The purpose of consultation with Aboriginal people is to assist the proponent in the preparation of an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment Report (ACHAR) and if required, an application for an AHIP to assist the Executive Director of Heritage NSW's (Department of Planning and Environment) consideration and determination of the application.

Please note that details of the Aboriginal people or organisations who register an interest in consultation will be forwarded to Heritage NSW and Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Council (KLALC). Please advise at the time of registration if you do not wish for your details to be released to the relevant organisations.
