The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender for the provision of software to map, manage, and improve business processes for the Process Management System project in accordance with this request.

A 9-month proof of concept was completed in July 2022. As a result, the Business and Service Improvement team (B&SI) have defined a roadmap for process maturity with an initial focus on simplification, standardisation, and visible ownership of operational processes. Initially, the primary purpose of the system will be a repository of high-impact processes that can be referenced as a simple flow or in procedural format. We require a system that enables people with varying process management capabilities to document processes to a common standard without significant administration and/or manual controls.

We aim to deploy a process management system that will enable simplified processes to be consistently documented, easily accessed, followed and regularly reviewed.
The City aims to embed foundational process management capabilities prior to introducing any advanced elements. 'Simplification, standardisation, and visible ownership' is the first step in our process management maturity roadmap.
Along with the system we are looking for a partnership to support the development of our process management maturity over the long term.
