Caretaking & Maintenance Services (estimated 24 hours per week)
The caretaking services are required on a daily basis, averaging 4 hours per day Monday to Friday, and up to 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Hours can be flexible to some extent.
Duties generally include liaison with service contractors and trades (as needed), purchasing supplies (bulbs, cleaning materials and supplies) cleaning of the building and common areas, pool and spa care, tennis court care, garbage collection management and some basic maintenance tasks. A monthly report will be required for the committee.
There are limited services needed on the weekend are garbage bin management, light cleaning of reception and entry areas, pool and spa water testing.
We will also need an after-hours on-call service to handle any emergencies such as plant or mechanical breakdown or storm damage. This would be covered by an extra negotiated hourly rate.
