Small and medium-sized enterprises in NSW.
Overview
Funding is available to leverage the capacity of NSW-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and NSW-based research and development to address the needs of the NSW government with the aim to procure solutions.
Funding is provided in 2 steps:
- companies will first apply for a feasibility study grant of up to $100,000 for a project of up to 3 months
- companies that successfully complete this feasibility study will then have the opportunity to apply for further proof-of-concept funding of up to $1 million to carry out a more in depth demonstration of their solution over 15 months.
Funding is available to enterprises that innovate to solve one of the following challenges:
- waste recovery and management
- biosecurity surveillance
- cultural and linguistic diversity services
- recycled content verification
- school zones alerting system
- urban heat island
- vital sign monitoring.
