The Austin Mental Health Division (MHD) delivers the North-East Area Mental Health Service (NEAMHS) which provides community, inpatient and specialist mental health services across the cities of Banyule and Nillumbik; a child and youth mental health service that supports the entire Northeast of Victoria as well as several State-wide programs; and additionally offers Specialty community and bed based Mental Health Services (MHS).

The MHD inpatient and residential services include a psychiatric short stay unit, five inpatient wards - Parent/Infant, Child, Adolescent, Adult and a Secure Extended Care Unit, a Prevention and Recovery Care Service (PARC), a Community Recovery Program (CRP) with plans underway for a new Youth Prevention and Recovery Centre (YPARC).

Austin Health is seeking a suitably qualified respondent (Invitee) to partner with for the above inpatient and residential services. Austin Health’s intention is to source a single provider capable of providing all services, however if required the services may be split based on the two categories of patient cohorts between adult and youth.
