Tender Description

ASC is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suppliers with the capacity and capability to: Design and Manufacture\Supply Adjustable Flow Valves for the Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) – A100991.

 
Requirements:
 
ASC are seeking high quality Adjustable Flow Valves suited for sea water cooling systems in a marine environment, designed and manufactured by a supplier for use on CCSM. The valve must be sized up to DN100 and be capable of operating at pressures of up to 4 MPa. The valve must also have electric or hydraulic actuation with the ability to be paired with a suitable control system, in order to vary the flow coefficient.
 
EOI Submission Requirements:
 
All interested suppliers must submit a concise brief demonstrating:
 
• The supplier’s capacity and capability to meet the project requirements,
• A high level overview of personnel required to complete the above scope and;
• A high level understanding of Defence processes and procedures.
 
All suppliers’ will be subject to the ASC Supplier Qualification process including being required to enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement to participate in the Request for Tender.
 
This EOI is an invitation to treat and must not be construed, interpreted, or relied upon, whether expressly or impliedly, as an offer capable of acceptance by any person, or as creating any form of contractual, quasi-contractual, restitutionary or promissory estoppel rights, or rights based upon similar legal or equitable grounds.
 
The Respondents’ participation in any stage of the EOI process, or in relation to any matter concerning the EOI, is at the Respondents’ sole risk, cost and expense. ASC will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by any suppliers in preparation or lodgment of a response or taking part in the EOI process.
