Tender Description
We are now inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from Penrith general practices that may want to deliver the Commonwealth funded Urgent Care Clinic (UCC).This clinic will enhance general practices to provide free GP-led care for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions. The Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care has advised that they will be funding one UCC in our region, located in the Penrith LGA.
General practices that have already expressed interest through the NSW Urgent Care Services EOI and would like to submit an EOI for the Commonwealth funded UCC do not need to fill out the new Commonwealth EOI form. However, you must confirm that you want to participate in the Commonwealth funded UCC EOI process by completing the acknowledgement below. We will then use your previously submitted paperwork.
If your practice did not submit an EOI through the NSW Urgent Care Services process but would now like to register your interest in the Commonwealth-funded UCC, email us, and we will send the EOI form to you next week. Register your interest by 12pm Thursday, 16 March 2023.
Applicants that have expressed interest and meet the criteria will be invited to complete a more detailed proposal. Information will be available shortly.
