Buy and Sell Description:

On behalf of the owner of Golden Stairs Forest (GSF) Forme Consulting Group Ltd are seeking expressions of interest from parties wishing to participate in a competitive sales process to acquire cutting rights to Blocks C and D only of their P. radiata tree crop at Golden Stairs Rd, Taipuha in the Kaipara District, Northland. Availability for harvest is immediate.

• Conveniently located to take advantage of both domestic and export markets. GSF is approx. 32 km from Northpine, 37 km from CHH LVL plant, and 38km southwest of Northport.
• Medium to steep terrain - approximately 55 % of combined C and D areas are on flatter than 25 degree slopes, hence suited to combined hauler, tethered or ground-based harvesting.
• Subject to the chosen harvest methodology, some minor earthworks may be required mainly within the forest for internal access.

Two mature blocks are offered for sale.

• Block D – P. radiata, 5.3 hectares, Framing regime, planted in 1994 (estimated), approx. 29 years old.
• Block C – P. radiata, 9.3 hectares, planted in 1976 (estimated) , approx. 47 years old.

Some windthrow occurred in Block C during a recent Cyclone, which can be seen on inspection but is not expected to significantly detract from forest operations efficiency, or value.

Forme Consulting Group Ltd act directly for the owner(s) of Golden Stairs Forest to assist the sale of standing trees for removal however, for clarity;

• Whilst Forme can prepare and assist in the Information Memorandum process, we are not licensed real estate agents and have obligations and restrictions as to our involvement if the forest is to be sold. As a Registered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry (NZIF) Forme are exempt from the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 by the Real Estate Agent (exemptions) Regulations 2017, however the obligations and restrictions as to our involvement if the forest is to be sold include.
• We can only conduct real estate work that is in the forestry sector.
• We must abide by the NZIF Rules, Code of Ethics and the exemption regulations.
• Forme cannot accept remuneration in the form of a commission that is in addition to, or instead of, our normal professional charges.
• Forme cannot prepare agreements for sale and purchase or give any advice about legal rights and obligations incidental to preparing such agreements.
• Forme cannot manage funds relating to a real estate transaction through a trust or any account.
• We will be adhering to these rules.
