Tender Description
Aurukun Shire Council are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the design, construction, and supply of lighting, cabling, and marker safety improvements at Aurukun Aerodrome.
The scope includes, where applicable, the design, supply, installation, certification, testing, and commissioning of the following components:
• PAPI lighting bulb protection system (Surge arrest)
• Replacement and upgrade of runway lighting to LED
• Replacement and upgrade of runway lighting cabling
• Replacement and upgrade of the existing illuminated wind direction indicator and supply and installation of a second illuminated wind direction indicator.
• Supply of replacement airport gable markers
• Supply of portable emergency airport lighting
All aspects of the intended improvements shall comply with all relevant Australian and International Standards and CASA requirements, including Manual of Standards (MOS) – Part 139 Aerodromes.
