The project consists of the construction of one concrete road section and an equipment shed slab and footings. The road is located on Horn Island and forms part of Outie Street. The equipment shed slab is located at the Horn Is Landfill.
Note that this contract only requires the construction of the equipment shed slab and footings and not the supply and erection of shed. However, the contractor will need to refer to the Equipment Shed Suppliers (RANbuild) drawings to complete the work which will include installation of the hold bolts for the shed columns.

For Outie Street, the construction consists of reinforced concrete road pavement with associated jointing, crossovers, kerb and channelling and minor drainage.

For the Equipment Shed Slab, the construction consists of reinforced concrete slab and footings with associated jointing, ramp crossover, trench grate system and minor drainage.

Each component shall be constructed as a separable portion and costed as such in the schedule of quantities.

The contractor will have possession of the site and be responsible for the site, and as such will need to carry appropriate insurances.
