Centennial Park is seeking a head contractor to partner with to deliver 2 ramp/walkway projects to enhance the accessibility to the Park and its facilities. Please see below information relating to the tender for the above project.

Project Location: Centennial Park Cemetery

Description of Works: Construction of 2 ramps/walkways. Ramp 1 to the deck of the existing function rooms, Ramp/walkway 2 from Adelaide Terrace.

Construction Contract: ABIC Simple Works   

  Centennial Park Cemetery is an operational cemetery, funeral and wake venue that welcomes visitors at their most vulnerable.   

  - Ramp 1 will need to be constructed primarily during mornings before funerals and functions begin and the site is to be screened and kept tidy as it will be viewed from the function room. Prompt construction of this ramp is required to get the function center back to full operation. Other construction times can be arranged depending on funeral services.

- Ramp 2 is less sensitive but is still near graves, burial plots and some outdoor funerals and should be suitably screened. Trades will need to be mindful of people in the area and there may be times works will be asked to cease due to the proximity of events.
