Tender Description

The Tender is to prepare a short list of the Council's preferred contractors that will be engaged in performing minor works up to a value of $20,000 (inc GST). Contractors that should apply include, but are not limited to, those who provide the following services: -

Air conditioning services
Arborist/tree removal/stump grinding
Audio Visual Equipment Supply
Brick/block layers
Carpenters
Civil Construction/Earthworks
Cleaners/Yard maintenance
Communications, data, and IT services
Concrete
Demolition and Asbestos
Digital Marketing and Graphic Design
Electricians (including industrial)
Event hire/event services
Environmental Services
Fencing/Guardrail
Fire Management
Floor Covering and Carpet Installers
Glaziers
Gardening / Landscaping / Revegetation
Grant and Funding Services
Irrigation
Lift Maintenance
Locksmiths
Marketing Services
Metal fabricators (including stainless steel)
Painters
Plasterers
Plumbers/gas fitters
Printing/Signage
Professional Consulting (Engineering//Geotechnical/Contaminated Land/Etc)
Security Services
Registered Surveyors
Utility Locaters
Water and Sewer Asset Monitoring, maintenance, and installation

Please note that the preferred contractor's list does not include the below:
Legal Services (This is subject to another tender that will be released within the next few months)
Hire of Plant Tender # 36.00795
Hire of Trucks / Watercarts Tender # 36.00798 (This is subject to another tender which is typically advertised October), although where day hire of equipment is required as part of a supplied service it can be included, eg water truck dry hire in addition to civil works or hire of temporary fence when the installation of temporary fence is required.

The Tender needs to outline all types of general maintenance services that contractors can provide, as per the above list. Services not specified on this list should be classified as 'Other', and the nature of these services clearly outlined in the contractor's submission. Services able to be provided can, where applicable, be for several of the areas listed above, or one of the areas listed, or other areas not listed. Hourly rates, including overtime rates, should be provided for tradesperson, apprentices and labourers or equivalent for the service type and will not be subject to Rise and Fall adjustments. The Preferred Contractor List will be for a period of 12 months.
