Cairns Regional Council is seeking submissions and competitive rates from suitably experienced and qualified Contractors to provide a range of security services across various Council sites, in relation to the following:

• Separable Portion 1 - CBD Mobile Patrols, CCTV Monitoring
• Separable Portion 2 - Asset Patrols and Lockups
• Separable Portion 3 - Alarm Monitoring and Responses
• Separable Portion 4 - Library Security (three sites)
• Separable Portion 5 - Events and on demand security services (by establishment of a Register of Prequalified Suppliers)

The Contract is divided into five Separable Portions and Respondents may tender for one, any or all portions. Council reserves the right to appoint a successful Contractor for each, any or all separable portions.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

Lodgement of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission to the tendering portal, using the response forms within the tender documentation.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion. Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
