Tender Description

The Shire of Leonora is calling for expressions of interest to deliver the Leonora Youth Centre and Youth Support Service from the Leonora Youth Centre located at 84 Tower Street Leonora.

The Leonora Youth Centre and Youth Support Service has been operating since May 2014. It is facilitated by the Shire of Leonora, providing youth services and programs to local young people. The Shire of Leonora is contracted by the Department of Communities – Child Protection and Family Services (CPFS) to provide the LYC and YSS.

The objectives of the LYC and YSS are to:

Reduce the overall level of risk of young people frequenting the youth service.

Improve relationships between young people at risk with their family, school and community (as perceived by the young people frequenting the youth service).

Link young people at risk to appropriate services such as employment, training, education, accommodation, counselling, rehabilitation and recreation.

Enhance the ability of young people at risk to effectively manage their lives and increase their resilience.

Submissions will be open for a 30-day period commencing Monday April 24th and closing 5pm Wednesday May 24th. No extensions will be given. You will be notified of the outcome of your submission within 14 days of the closing date.
