PF Olsen is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from harvesting, log cartage and earthworks contractors for works concerning the potential clearfell harvest of Matangareka forest in Waihau Bay, Bay of Plenty. The information provided in any EOI will assist PF Olsen to determine its procurement and contracting requirements, if it decides to proceed with the opportunity.
Description of Opportunity
Approximately 400,000 tonnes of mature, well-tended Pinus radiata to be harvested.

Harvesting Contractor(s)
Earthworks Contractor(s)
Log Cartage Contractor(s)
If PF Olsen decides to proceed with the opportunity, work is anticipated to commence November 2023. A draft harvest plan has been completed for the purpose of budgeting. Selected contractors will be consulted with to establish the optimum operational solution. Applicants have the option to express interest in either all or specific work streams listed.
