Tender Description

The works comprise the refurbishment of the Cusack House located in Cusack Street Wangaratta on the Gotafe Docker Street Campus. 

The contract is for the supply of labour, materials, plant and equipment necessary for the proper demolition, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of the works as shown or implied in the contract documents. 

The works is generally comprised of but not limited to:  

  • All works required to complete the construction of the design as documented in the tender documentation, including supply of labour, material and equipment. 
  • Project management activities  
  • Decommissioning and commissioning 
  • Approvals required to construct the works 
  • Site establishment including site clearing, safety fencing, insurances and construction preliminaries, construction management, environmental and cultural heritage management 
  • Disestablishment at completion of construction including removal of all plant and equipment, site restoration, cleaning of site, rubbish removal to the satisfaction of project manager  
  • All investigations and assessments required to enable works 
  • All materials supplied for incorporation in the Works shall comply with the requirements of this specification, the Drawings and/or the relevant standards and codes 
  • The Contractor shall comply with all statutory requirements and standards for the Works and obtain all necessary permits and approvals associated with the construction of the Works. The Contractor is to pay all fees required to obtain all approvals and permits 
  • Provision of traffic management and control facilities 
  • Utilities service enquiry and locating 
  • Survey, set out and determination of on-site levels 
  • Preparation and submission of As-Built Drawings 
  • Preparation of Operation and Maintenance Manuals
