Port of Melbourne is seeking to engage a suitable contractor to undertake rehabilitation works to existing fire safety systems and piping network at Maribyrnong Dock and Holden Dock within Port of Melbourne. The works aim to improve the firefighting system performance, operability, fire incident risk management and to extend the life of the fire system assets.

The scope of works is described in detail in the provided Tender documents and Drawings and generally includes, but is not limited to:

- Replacement of the egress passageway deluge systems pipework and nozzles

- Full replacement of underdeck deluge systems at Maribyrnong Dock and partial replacement at Holden Dock, including replacement of pipe supports

- Installation of new water spray nozzles at both docks, including the underdeck, egress passageways, and foam tower protection

- Repair of paint coatings where required at both docks to minimize the risk of external corrosion.
