La Trobe University (LTU) was established in 1964 as Victoria’s third university and is recognised as a leading Australian provider of tertiary education. In 2020, LTU enrolled 35,000 local and international students while employing over 2,800 staff across all campuses Victoria wide.

LTU is a multi-campus university and the largest provider of higher education to Victoria’s regions. Our main campus is located in Bundoora, Melbourne. Other campuses include; Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura and Shepparton.

This Request for Tender (RFT) is the formal instrument LTU has developed in order to seek and engage an industry-leading organisation who can deliver high quality Capital Maintenance Project Management. This does NOT relate to major projects or capital projects.

TENDER SUMMARY

CONTRACT PERIOD

It is the intent that the Contract(s) will commence on 01 July 2023.

The Contract will be awarded for a period of three (3) years with yearly optional extensions for up to a further three (3) years (assessed annually and at the discretion of LTU).

MOBILISATION PERIOD

The successful Contractor must initiate a mobilisation program that is focused on establishing and

maintaining the quality service level delivery to the University from the Contract commencement

date throughout the term of the Contract.

PRE-QUALIFICATION

The supplier is required to answer 5 pre-qualification questions and submit the responses before entering the tender.

TENDER RESPONSES REQUIREMENTS

The supplier is required to provide responses into the answer boxes corresponding to the tender online questions outlining their service offering to La Trobe University as part of their submission

The supplier must also ensure they separately submit Document D - Contract Departure Register as a Microsoft Excel document.

The supplier must also ensure they separately submit Document E - Response Pricing - CapMaintPM as a Microsoft Excel or PDF document.

Please note: If a Project Manager is intending to use a third-party Sub-Consultant to provide a significant portion of the services detailed in this tender, then the responses must adequately address both the Project Manager and the third-party Sub-Consultant.
