The Art Gallery of NSW is a significant cultural institution and a major tourism destination for local, interstate, and international visitors.
The Gallery is open to the public 7 days a week. The Gallery is only closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday. The visitation level at the Gallery averages around 1.3 million visitors per year. The Gallery displays and stores high value art works including the state art collection and national/international loaned works. The consistency of the ambient air temperature and humidity is one of the key elements for the conservation of the Artworks on display. This is a selective request for tender and only invited suppliers will be provided access to the tender package. Suppliers will need to be registered as a certified provider on the General Construction Works up to $1 Million Scheme SCM0256.
