Natural Gas Pipeline is a steel pipeline approximately 20 km long with a diameter of 4 to 6 inches.

The Works include as a minimum the engineering, design, approvals, permits, shop detailing, procurement, fabrication, inspection, expediting, shop assembly, shop testing, surface protection, packaging, transportation, unloading, site materials management, mobilisation and demobilisation, construction, testing, commissioning of all permanent structures, temporary facilities, temporary services, fabricated items and equipment necessary for the NGP (“the Works”).

The Natural gas pipeline package can be tied into either the Dampier to Bunbury natural gas pipeline (DBNGP), the Northern Goldfields Interconnect (NGI), or the Mid-West Pipeline (MWP). AVL proposes to engage two ECI participants to consider the tie-in, route, construction, and layout options. It is expected that the two ECI participants will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, approvals, and permits which should be well advanced in line with the start of the construction period.

On completion of the Phase 1 ECI, both ECI participants will present a binding offer to AVL, which shall include pricing and a schedule for delivery of “the Works”. One option will be selected for construction.

The package is currently planned to be executed in the following 2 Phases:

• Phase 1 – Two parties Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) - Commencement TBA

• Phase 2 – Single party selected for Construction of Natural Gas Pipeline by Contract execution – Commencement TBA.
