WA Metropolitan Health Service Providers (HSPs) (being South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS), North Metropolitan Health Service, East Metropolitan Health Service, Child Adolescent Health Services and WA Country Health Services) are seeking to establish an arrangement for the provision of Linen Rental and Laundering Services. Other sites may be included, as required.

The Metropolitan HSPs require the provision of a suitable and sustainable Linen Rental and Laundering Service, including (but not limited to):

• linen rental services, including stocking and maintaining hospital grade, clinically appropriate linen items in the required volume;
  
• timely delivery of clean linen and collection of soiled linen from participating sites;
• maintenance of an appropriate type and volume of bulk and ward linen trolley fleet;
• packing of bulk linen trolleys and individual ward / departmental trolleys;
• suitable linen bags to transport soiled linen safely; and
• tracking of linen.

The following categories are included:

• Category 1: Rental linen for patient use
  
• Category 2: Rental microfibre cleaning linen
• Category 3: Rental theatre suits
• Category 4: HSP Owned Goods
• Category 5: Patient Owned Goods
• Category 6: HSP Owned uniform laundering.

A briefing session will be held at at 12 Jun, 2023 1:30 PM.

A non-mandatory briefing to Respondents will be conducted at Fiona Stanley Hospital’s Education Lecture Theatre or via Microsoft Teams.
