Tourism New Zealand’s purpose is to enrich Aotearoa New Zealand and all who visit. To achieve this, we target High-Quality visitors and focus on maximising their contribution across the four capitals of nature, society, culture and economy.
Moving into FY24 we will be embedding “Experience Marketing” to help us drive maximum contribution. Experience Marketing is the targeting of converted travelers (those whom our offshore teams have done the heavy lifting to convert to a New Zealand holiday) with curated experiences to further enrich their holiday and Aotearoa New Zealand. We want to start the conversation with these converted travelers the moment they’ve booked their plane ticket/accommodation/bucket list experiences, compelling them to add at least one more experience into their trip – and continue the suggestions right throughout their holiday journey until they board their flight home.
We need a media agency partner who has global reach, sophisticated audience targeting capability, appetite for experimentation, hunger to learn and drive for results, to help us execute Experience Marketing globally.
