Tender Description

Saipem Australia is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers able to fabricate Subsea Spools and Spreader Bars in support of the Jansz-Io Compression Project (J-IC). The location is 140 km North-West of Barrow Island and part of the Greater Gorgon development.

Supplier Scope of Work includes but not limited to:

 Management of fabrication and loadout facility in Henderson

 Fabrication drawings/shop drawings

 Receipt, storage, and preservation of free-issued pipe spool material

 Procurement of spreader bar material

 Weld procedure and welder qualifications

 Fabrication of Spools & Spreader bars (refer to details below in text)

 Surface/Cathodic Protection

 Perform Quality Control including NDT and Dimensional Control.

 Precommissioning / pressure testing.

 Mechanical Completion

 Preservation

 Transport to load out quay.

 Loadout and sea-fastening.

Saipem Supplied Material

 Spool materials including diverless connectors.

 Spool/spreader beam lift rigging

Supplier Supplied Materials:

 Tools, equipment and machines, all necessary equipment/material necessary for the fabrication phases up until loadout and seafastening completion.

 Handling facilities

 All equipment, materials and consumables required for pre-commissioning.

 Protective equipment

 Temporary materials

 Consumables for welding activities

 NDT equipment

 General rigging for handling and lifting in Fabrication Yard during fabrication and loadout.

 Seafastening materials (optional)

 Blast-cleaning abrasives.

 Field joint coating and coating repair kits

 Preservation materials

 Load out equipment such as cranes.

 Suppliers shall have experience with:

 Fabrication of large diameter and long length subsea steel / CRA clad pipe spools

 Fabrication of large size & high load spreader bars

 Development of weld procedures for carbon steel and CRA clad pipelines

 Transportation and loadout of spools and spreader bars to Heavy Transport Vessels (HTV) and barges

 Providing documentation to a high level of requirement and standard expected within the oil and gas sector
