The Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust (CPMPT) is requesting proposals to lease the commercial building on the corner of Anzac Parade and Dacey Avenue, Moore Park. Uses considered will include recreation (eg health studio), child care or community uses but Alternative Proposals will also be accepted for term and use.

The former 59-place childcare centre is centrally located and offers an integration of indoor and outdoor facilities surrounded by trees. The single level building with a NLA of 577sqm is located on the entry to the Moore Park sports precinct adjacent to the ES Marks Athletics Field.

Moore Park (the Park) was founded as a recreation ground in 1866 to provide the people of Sydney with a public space for outdoor activities and organised sports. It now provides 115 hectares of public space to the people of Sydney for leisure activities. The Park’s sports fields include basketball, tennis and netballs courts, the ES Marks Athletics Field, an 18-hole Group One public golf course, chipping and putting greens and a 60 bay driving range. The Park is also used as a venue for outdoor events.

The successful respondent will have experience in operation of similar facilities and services, evidence of sustainable business practices and the ability to work collaboratively with CPMPT as part of existing park operations.

Any resulting commercial agreement will be in the form of a lease.
