Tender Description
General information:
(a) The Tenderer is seeking a suitably qualified haulage company with a late model prime mover truck to tow a new Tieman B Double bitumen tanker ("Trailer"), primarily from Port Botany to Tomago NSW for delivery of bitumen. From time-to-time bitumen will also be required to be delivered to other parts of New South Wales.
(b) Contract Term: 2 years (with possible 2 x 1-year further terms thereafter)
(c) Minimum order of 5,000 tonnes per annum.
Requirements:
(a) Late model (no more than 4 years old), well-maintained truck which is equipped to carry dangerous goods to tow the Trailer.
(b) The ability to deliver bitumen 24 hours, 7 days per week (day and night) using multiple drivers, as necessary.
(c) Previous experience in carting bitumen is highly desirable.
(d) The Tenderer must carry and maintain necessary insurance.
(e) The Tenderer must have secure and safe off-street parking for the Trailer.
(f) The Tenderer must, at the Tenderer's cost, undertake/ arrange for all required maintenance and repairs for the Trailer per the manufacturers service intervals, along with maintaining and replacing Tyres on the Trailer as required.
