The Art Gallery of NSW is a significant cultural institution and a major tourism destination for local, interstate, and international visitors. The Gallery is open to the public 7 days a week. The Gallery is only closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday. The Art Gallery of New South Wales has now concluded its expansion with its new site “North Building” that opened in December 2022. Visitor numbers are expected to continue to increase supported by a wide range of diverse Art offerings and experiences. The Art Gallery continues to strive to deliver best practice in Gallery experiences to everyone in alignment with our mission and values. This selective request for tender under Construction scheme 0256 is to seek a suitable provider to deliver a key exhibition build for 2023. In addition, applications will be assessed for suitability to be appointed to a preferred panel of providers for a 3-year period for future exhibition work.
