Palm Beach Soccer Club (the Club) is located in the heart of Palm Beach on the Southern end of the Gold Coast. It has a strong community focus and has earned a reputation for delivering memorable experiences to our members and guests alike.

The club enjoys a prominent position within the Mallawa sporting precinct and is within easy walking distance to the heart of rapidly expanding Palm Beach.

The Club is open seven days a week, with catering currently offered five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday, the club is looking to expand this operation to cover seven-day trading.

The venue is a single building operation with separate areas for dining, main bar, TAB, and gaming. The Club currently has over 5000 members and of course a strong contingent of junior and senior soccer players.

The dining area consists of approx. 80 covers with an additional 80 covers in the main bar area. In addition to the dining opportunity, a club Canteen facility is also included in the contract which operates on club game days, carnival days, and other special events.

The caterer is well supported by both the Management team and the Board of directors with all stakeholders working together as a team to ensure only the best customer service delivery.

Palm Beach Soccer Club is looking to uphold its valued profile within the Southern Gold Coast region by offering first-class catering. It is imperative to offer versatility and professionalism, whilst focusing on the presentation and quality of food.

New Caterer

To be considered all applicants must meet the following criteria;

• Have a proven track record of providing meals of high quality and a wide variety at competitive prices

• A willingness to provide daily specials at reasonable prices

• Ability to cater to the bistro and functions with up to 100 persons simultaneously

• Able to meet deadlines and have excellent time management skills

• Flexibility and organisation

• Be fully conversant with HACCP, WHS, and all other relevant legislations relating to food, hygiene, and employment.

• Ability to build good relations with members and guests both through service delivery and by employing well-trained staff committed to customer service.

• Work closely with Management to ensure outstanding service delivery and develop a good working relationship with all football committees.

• Demonstrate strong business acumen to grow mutual businesses.

Details of Commencement

Commencement as soon as possible, date to be agreed with successful applicant. Some preparation for upcoming functions may be needed prior to the commencement date. 

Term

A two (2) year term and an optional extension following a six-month probationary period.

Expenses:

• Responsible for payment of gas and grease trap expenses

• Kitchen staff wages

• Food costs

• Insurance - Workers Compensation, Public Liability etc.

• Weekly rental to Club

Staff

The Caterer is to supply fully trained and certified staff to ensure the deliverance of customer service, members and guests of Palm Beach Soccer Club have come to expect.

Food

The Club is looking for a highly skilled versatile Caterer who has the ability to vary the menu, and offer a variety of popular food styles for both a la carte dining and functions. The caterer will be expected to have a flexible menu able to cater to the varied requests of both types of food and ranges in budget.

The Board and Management are willing to discuss and negotiate terms and conditions to secure the right Caterer who will deliver the best service. As a condition of the application the applicant will need to provide proof of commercial viability.
