Civic Nexus Southern Cross Station Pty Ltd is seeking to engage a world class supplier for the delivery and management of Automated Retail Services at Southern Cross Station (SXS).

SCSPL is inviting proposals for the provision of automated retail services for packaged snacks and beverages at Southern Cross Station (SXS) for a contract period of up to six years.

 The following are key drivers for the automated retail offering;

• SXS seeks to improve its current financial return
• SXS seeks to maximise revenue whilst minimising carbon footprint - both energy saving and location
• SXS seeks to offer a sustainable recycling program
• SXS seeks to offer innovation and “first of its kind” experiences
• SXS seeks to offer social outcomes for the local community and support for its charitable partners
• SXS seeks opportunities to support local producers, and employment wherever possible
• SXS seeks opportunities to participate in major events in the City of Melbourne
• SXS seeks to create a flexible relationship allowing for alternative creative product offerings

The automated retail contract is a key commercial contract at SXS and as a result we are looking to select a partner who can exhibit the following in their submission:

• A financial offer that reflects all parts of the SXS opportunity and allows for financial success to be shared between the parties
• To work with SXS in creating exciting, automated retail offerings that bring excitement and a “sense of place” to the Station
• Submission of a comprehensive business plan setting out targets for growth over the contract period
• Submission of a marketing strategy to attract sufficient suitable commercial use in order to provide a sound revenue base and viable future for Southern Cross Station.
• Ability to partner with contemporary brands and present a diverse offer
• A competitive and customer focused approach
• A partner that demonstrates capability to service major transport hubs to achieve outstanding results
• All required licenses, compatible quality assurance systems, and sustainability programs
• Sufficient staff and equipment to execute contractual responsibilities
