Tender Description
Port Of Newcastle (PON) is undertaking a project to provide a new 11kV ring main feeder to supply existing and new tenants along the BLP road in the Mayfield precinct.
The project has the following objectives:
(b) terminate the ends of this ring main feeder to the new 11kV switching station installed in the Mayfield precinct. This switching station will be commissioned in late 2023 into early 2024; and
(c) provide connections to the new 11kV ring main feeder to new and existing tenants via the proposed High Voltage Connections (HVC) points.
The HVC points are to be designed with redundancies for maintenance and to integrate Users' and tenants' embedded generators into the Ausgrid distribution network via the Principal's private network.
