Council is calling for quotations to form a panel of contractors to provide non-destructive hydro-excavation services to the Water and Wastewater division.

The work required is to enable safe and efficient removal of material to allow for repairs and maintenance on YVC's water and sewer assets without damaging existing infrastructure.

Typical applications include:

- Excavation of earthworks to expose water and sewer mains

- Potholing to locate services

- Pit cleaning and maintenance

- Sewer/ stormwater main cleaning

- Trenching for new main installations in areas with a high amount of underground services
