Development Victoria is seeking to engage a suitable Commercial Refurbishment (Heritage Contractor) Contractor for the chimney restoration at the Highett Gasworks project located in Highett VIC.
Development Victoria is re-developing the original Gasworks site into a vibrant community precinct. The project is expected to be planned in coordination with the Suburban Rail Loop Authority who is seeking to deliver an underground station at Sir William Fry Reserve.
The scope of works will include but not limited to:
- Security of site and access to site
- Restoration and structural stabilisation of Highett Gasworks Heritage Chimney as per architectural and engineering specifications.
This procurement will be conducted as a single stage Selective Tender. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is forecasted for release in early August 2023 with the works to commence in October 2023.
