The Board is calling for expressions of interest in a tender for appointment to the Board’s Compliance Audit Panel (the CMP Panel). At the completion of the tender process, successful applicants will be placed on the CMP Panel and may be called upon to provide the services outlined below. Invitees are advised that placement on the CMP Panel is not a contract to provide services. Rather, the CMP Panel is a list of suitably qualified persons who are eligible to be appointed as the need arises to exercise statutory functions or undertake other special auditing work on behalf of the Board.

Invitees should note that compliance auditors are appointed to undertake each compliance audit in their personal capacity, rather than the Board appointing a law practice or business to undertake an audit. Pursuant to the Uniform Law, invitees must be suitably qualified individuals, however the Board will consider multiple EOIs from individuals within or employed by the same law practice and/or business, if more than one person from that law practice or business submits an EOI.

Invitees are also advised that the Board welcomes EOIs from sole practitioners as well as from partners, principal or senior employees of law practices or other types of practice (including accounting or information technology practices). The Board anticipates that the CMP Panel will comprise individuals from a wide range of practices and with different practice backgrounds.
