The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) invites interested and experienced organisations to register their interest in one or more packages of work related to the construction of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project, as well as the Loganlea Station Relocation Project.

Located along a 20-kilometer rail corridor between Kuraby and Beenleigh, these projects will connect growing communities with more frequent and reliable train services. The joint project scope includes duplicating the corridor from two to four tracks, station upgrades, and removing five-level crossings. This will provide many benefits including improved accessibility at stations, safer connections across the rail corridor for the community, and improved active transport facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.

Separate Registration of Interest (ROI) processes are now open for:

• Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project (Rail Package)
• Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project (Open Level Crossings Removal Package)
• Loganlea Station Relocation Project.

Companies or Consortia who would like to register an interest in participating in the procurement process for one or more packages of work must complete and return the relevant ROI Submission Form and Attachments by email before the Closing Date and Time of Friday 25 August 2023, 2:00 pm in accordance with the guidelines outlined in each ROI Information Document, ROI Submission Form and Attachments.

Please note that any enquiries or responses to the ROIs submitted by means other than the email address set out in the ROI Information Documents will not be considered by TMR.

The purpose of the ROIs is to mobilise the market for the procurement phase and to undertake an initial assessment of Registrants for each of the packages. Both the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail Project (Rail and Open Level Crossing Removal Packages) and the Loganlea Station Relocation Project will require a range of experience and capability to deliver the works. Registrants will need to demonstrate appropriate prequalification and/or key project experience through the ROI Submission Form and Attachments.

Companies or Consortia are not restricted from submitting an ROI for more than one package of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project or Loganlea Station Relocation Project. A separate ROI Submission will be required for each package and Registrants wishing to submit an ROI for multiple packages will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the ROI Information Documents.
