The North-East Catchment is comprised of four sub-catchments: Ovens, King and Black Dog Creek; Upper Murray and Mitta Mitta; Omeo and Benambra district; and Wodonga, Kiewa and Indigo.

The North East Catchment Management Authority (North East CMA) intends to establish a panel of contractors/suppliers based on a schedule of rates across all four sub-catchments and conditions outlined in the tender documents for the supply and delivery of the activities outlined below. The panel time period proposed is until 30 June 2026 with an option to extend if required. Suitably qualified contractors and suppliers are invited to submit a tender to supply one or more of the required activities detailed in the specifications for, one or more sub-catchments, or for all sub-catchments listed above for the stated period. Indigenous enterprises are encouraged to apply.

The North East CMA is inviting contractors and suppliers to submit rates for the following:

• Supply of plant and equipment.
• Supply of restoration services (weed management and revegetation).
• Supply and delivery of native seed/seedlings.
• Supply and construction of rural fencing.

Selection criteria will be based on Business Profile and Systems (particularly Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, and levels of Indigenous Participation), Experience and Track Record and Suitability/Availability of plant and price. Contractors and suppliers must be able to demonstrate previous experience in the areas outlined above. The lowest quotation will not necessarily be accepted.

Copies of tender documents can be obtained from the Buying for Victoria website. Tenders close at 4.00pm on Monday 4 September 2023 and can submitted via email to contracts@necma.vic.gov.au. Hardcopies will also be accepted at the postal address below and late submissions will not be accepted unless the supplier can clearly document to the satisfaction of the Chief Procurement Officer that an event of exceptional circumstances prevailed.
