Introduction

The Victorian Government has committed $675 million to build ten community hospitals close to major growth areas. These community hospitals will improve the way public healthcare is delivered in suburban and regional Victoria, providing more access to in-demand services, closer to home.

Project

This tender relates to a Stage 2 Refurbishment package for the Craigieburn site. The Craigieburn Community Hospital is part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to build, upgrade, and expand Community Hospitals across regional Victoria and greater Melbourne to improve public access to services via a new kind of health facility providing health services within growing communities.

The existing Craigieburn Health Service is located at 274-304 Craigieburn Road, Craigieburn VIC 3064. It is one of Northern Health’s hospital facilities and currently provides ambulatory, community health, allied health, and urgent care services to the local community and visitors. The redevelopment of the existing Craigieburn Health Service is included in the Victorian Government's commitment to deliver the Craigieburn Community Hospital and the subject of this tender (Stage 2 Refurbishment Works).
